Unlike traditional department stores that add unnecessary inches to your band size just to fit you into their limited stock, we prioritize the structural integrity of the bra band.
Why the '+4 Method' is Outdated
Many online calculators still use the obsolete '+4 method.' Historically, bra bands were made of stiff, non-stretch materials, so manufacturers told women to add 4 inches to their ribcage measurement. This is no longer necessary. Modern bras contain elastane and spandex. Adding inches results in a band that is too loose, riding up your back and forcing the straps to do all the heavy lifting (hello, shoulder pain!).
